The world’s first Museum of the Future officially opened in Dubai on Wednesday. The museum, which is part of the city’s futuristic Dubai Innovation Centre, was designed to be a venue for social transformation and inspiration.

Dubai’s Museum of the Future, which aims to explore the future of megacities and life on earth in the year 2050, has opened in the United Arab Emirates.

The museum will focus on three themes: sustainability, mobility, and life in a connected world. It is expected to attract more than six million visitors annually when it opens to the public in 2018.
